My husband is a butcher and he use to take his knives to Jay's Sharpening. He was very happy with Jays sharpening but we noticed a new knife sharpening store much closer to our house. Well, we thought we would try this place for our sharpening needs. Well let me tell you, never again. When we were there we told the guy we use to take the knives to Jay's but thought we would try him only because Jays was so far from our house. Well he went on and on bad mouthing his competition! We did not appreciate this. He said some terrible things about Jay's that just were not true! Now back to his ability to sharpen knives. My husband could not even use his knives after this guy got through with them. They were worse then when he brought them in there! This guys messed up those knives so bad my husband had to leave his job to take them over to Jay's and have them sharpened all over again. I would never recommend "Knives and more" on Drexel Ave. If I could I wouldn't even give them one star. I don't recommend anyone ever take your knives there for sure!

The man tried to overcharge me for a Benchmade 42s beadblast. He wanted 650 dollars for it. On the internet it is much cheaper. He then belittled me for not "flipping and using manly knives". I played it cool and let him talk and he began to complain that he lived where the "whites were no longer living and despised all of the animals he lived by". When he was being this batantly racist, I left and came back a short while later. The woman who worked there was nice and cut me a deal for a benchmade pagan. However, the man is racist and even though I was helped I felt extremely offended to be near a man so racist.
